Alex is a global mining and materials talent expert, partnering with select clients to place leadership and executive talent.

Alex Wilkinson, Partner, brings almost a decade of global mining and materials experience to his role at Xtrava Group.

During that time, he’s supported companies across the industry to attract and secure leadership talent, for both their corporate and site leadership positions.

He’s placed in 27 countries and has successfully completed assignments across a broad range of disciplines, such as Health & Safety, Environment, Sales, Risk, ESG,  Commercial Management, Business Development, Training,  Sustainability, Operations, Asset Management, Investor Relations, Procurement & Finance, including board seats.

Prior to Xtrava Group, Alex scaled a mining & materials search division from scratch to 13 Consultants, servicing clients in 61 countries,

He also brings a decade of invaluable experience from the construction, engineering and manufacturing industries, having served as a Quantity Surveyor,  overseeing the commercial activities on multiple projects, valuing up to $30 million in value.

With 16 years in recruitment, Tom specialises in engineered products and mining, assisting OEMs and tech companies in attracting talent globally.

With nearly two decades of experience in executive search, Tom has become a highly respected figure within the global recruitment industry, showcasing his expertise in industrial and mining technology. His profound understanding of engineered products and technology across the mining industry has established him as a crucial partner for global Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and MRO equipment service providers. Tom employs focused, insightful, and transparent search and selection processes, assisting organizations in building diverse and scalable teams that lead in innovation and sustainability.

Tom’s professional journey has spanned various parts of the world, allowing him to live and work across Europe, Asia, and Australia. This experience has given him a comprehensive global perspective on leadership talent acquisition. Over a decade, Tom has been instrumental in scaling large, global industrial and mining teams, with his efforts across multiple international offices earning him several Global Management awards.

At the core of Tom’s mission is his commitment to enhancing the recruitment process, aiming to deliver genuine value to both clients and candidates. A dual citizen of the UK and Australia, he now resides in his hometown of Leeds, UK, with his wife Deb and their 3-year-old son, William.

With a Bachelor in Commerce, majoring in Human Resources Management and Business Law, Sanja leverages her extensive knowledge and diverse background to excel in the executive and leadership talent search.

Throughout her career, Sanja has held various leadership roles specialising in strategic human resources management, talent acquisition, and operations management. Some of her key achievements include the development and implementation of long-term recruitment strategies ensuring that candidate experience, succession planning, and diversity and inclusion initiatives were strategically embedded to achieve organisational objectives.
